The Curtis Valves CCA-9950 1/8 NPT fuel drain valve is FAA certified to TSO-C76 MPS. Its design is spring loaded in the closed position, and can be locked in the open position using a push and turn action. The valve spring is made from non-corrosive, long lasting stainless steel. Valve body and moving parts are manufactured from Cadmium plated brass to precise standards. Valve includes safety wire provision to wire valve in the closed position. The seal is made of a specially compounded “cure dated” synthetic rubber to withstand a wide variety of liquids over a broad temperature range. The CCA-9950 uses a wedge seal design which helps to prevent leakage and improved seal life. The CCA-9950 seal cannot be replaced.
