CCA-641 Curtis Valves Check Flapper Swing, One-Way, Inline, Free Flow Drain Valve

The Curtis CCA-641 swing check valve is an inline, swing flapper check valve that has many uses.  This design incorporates a flapper style soft seat to ensure flow in one direction only.  Must be mounted horizontally with the “Hinge” marking in the up position. This mounting method ensures the valve will still protect against backflow in the unlikely event of a failure.

Engineered and manufactured to provide superior performance, Curtis in line Check Valves are finely crafted from the highest quality materials. Curtis in-line Check Valves are used in a diverse range of aviation applications such as oil and fuel systems as one way flow control devices.   Optimize your system performance in multiple ways by ensuring fluid only flows in one direction and eliminate potential damage from back pressure.

Curtis Check Valve construction consists of a valve body with an inlet and outlet port. Contained within the valve body, a closing member is spring loaded in the closed position. Once the inlet port fluid pressure becomes greater than the spring force (crack pressure) the closing member opens allowing fluid to flow in only one direction. When the fluid PSI drops below the crack pressure or reverse flow attempts to enter through the outlet port the valve closes and flow through the valve is halted.
